OUR MISSION
Darna provides a safe haven for residents of Tira and the greater Arab minority, male and female, who seek a healthy place to talk, dream, express, reflect, engage, learn and explore free of judgment, stereotypes and social barriers. Through the use of tools such as education, facilitated dialogues, workshops and events, we encourage and support important strategies for social change that should be available to every citizen and are imperative to building strong community values. Eventually, this will allow our people to view the world differently and deal with life in a modern way, with wisdom and knowledge rather than hate and anger.
A future where responsibility to the core becomes the core of responsibility in the evolution of creating community change and a better, more peaceful future for all Palestinians living in Israel for generations to come. – our vision
